Tomorrow I begin the two and a half day FAST that I've been putting off since early November. In the beginning I thought I was just procrastinating the IVP procedure, but now I'm certain it's the "clear liquids" and "just say no to pasta" that has me eating my way through the weekend like a voracious lioness!

It's probably a given that spaghetti is on the menu for supper tonight...spaghetti with sautéed mushrooms, peas, chicken and Alfredo sauce. And on the back burner: chicken carcass, herbs, onion, carrots, celery stalks, etc...hopefully, a beautiful broth a'brew'n

Hope everything's okay and this is just a routine test. You have to fast for 2 and a half days for an IVP?
Oh yes, all should be routine, but can you believe the prep? All I can think is I'm glad this is happening just after the mounds and mounds of holiday foods I've just eaten...that would be the up side if there's one to be had!
Good luck!! I hope you have a big meal planned for right after. :o)

Wow Kelani, what a wonderful New Year surprise hearing from you.
Thanks for commenting and thanks for the heartfelt Wes comment...and yes, I can't feel/say/and post enough great things about him. He's a beautiful person and a "keeper!"
I'm thinking of you...
Love, Sonja
Good luck! Enjoy the spaghetti.
Thanks friends!
All went well with the testing...not bad at all as I first imagined it could be.
