a new friendship blossoms--Mom & McCoy
nothing like a lobster feed mess, outside!!
One of the most beautiful days we've had thus far this summer was spent deck side enjoying steamed lobsters, corn, mussels, and strawberry shortcake with my mom, Betty, and her new and dear friend, McCoy. That's right friends, The Real McCoy!
We had a lovely day of getting to know McCoy a bit and then stuffed him full of Maine lobster with a doggie bag for a next day's lunch of fresh lobster salad!
Mom is so happy and we all love knowing that there is a special someone in her world who can bring out her beautiful smile!

It is totally wonderful watching my mom bursting with joy and promise. She did her deep grief work for about 2 and a half years and now she's living in the moment!!
She deserves nothing less than deep happiness and for someone special to treat her like a Queen!!
