Why, is that a Drum Set or Soap Box in the Sunroom?

Always be available to your kids. Because if you say, “Give me five minutes, give me ten minutes,” it'll be 15, it'll be 20. And then when you get there, the shine will have worn off whatever it is they wanted to share with you. I've never gotten up to see something one of my kids wanted to show me and not been rewarded. ~ Michael J Fox
YES! . . . AND give them drum sets without boundaries;  AND permission to grow & process through hours & hours of necessary sleep or rest that happens in the prone position while gaming or movie watching;  AND allow messiness which lends itself to spontaneity and creativity;  AND walk slower when their legs are shorter than your-it's not 'their' race;  AND learn room for hearing & accepting their "no", so to affirm their ability to say it out in the difficult world when they'll really need it;  AND show willingness to say, "I'm sorry" first, which models forgiveness;  AND be kind to those YOU chose to bring to the planet for which they do not "owe" a debt;  AND show compassion to their promise, potential, trials, errors, lessons, and already-whole SPIRIT!  ~ me

Thank you.
Climbing down now.

Thanks, Kelly!
What's up with that phenomenon, or curse if you will, when sometimes we can't write a single word or connective thoughts to save our souls when we want to, but all of a sudden keyboard diarrhea strikes when we could give a "crap" or least expect it! Big hug to you, Kel!
